ICS connects with the Jubilee Sailing Trust
ICS has long supported community initiatives in Berkshire but with the opening of new offices in Southampton, it seemed only fitting that we looked to the seas for our latest charitable endeavour. So without further ado, we can announce that seafaring charity, the Jubilee Sailing Trust (JST), is our Official Charity of the Year!
The JST is a unique Southampton-based charity that promotes the integration of people of all physical abilities through the challenge and adventure of tall-ship sailing. Patroned by HRH The Duke of York, the scheme runs the only two tall ships in the world that are purpose-built to enable a crew of mixed abilities to operate on equal terms.
To mark the start of the partnership, ICS has donated and installed a complete Panasonic KXTDA-100 telephone system to the Trust that will allow the charity to save time and money on its calls.
Regional business development manager, David Blake, said: “We’re absolutely delighted to support the Jubilee Sailing Trust – there’s no other charity like it and whatever we can do to help, be it with our telecoms expertise or general fundraising, we’re proud to name the JST as our Charity of the Year.”
Jubilee Sailing Trust Chief Executive, Amanda Butcher, added: “Modern communications are essential to businesses and charities alike, which is why finding a company with the right product and expertise is so important.”
“We are extremely pleased with the new phone system that ICS has installed in our offices and thrilled that the company donated the system and their services for free after hearing of our life-changing work.”
